Organizations, teams, and roles
Workspaces map to your verified company domain. Learn the owner, admin, member, and viewer roles and your per-org gateway endpoint.
Each workspace (organization) is derived from your verified company email domain. The first person to sign in from a domain creates the org and becomes its owner; later sign-ins from the same domain join it automatically.
Roles
- Owner - created once at domain registration; full control, cannot be reassigned.
- Admin - manage connectors, policies, members, and agent keys.
- Member - use enabled tools and connect their own per-user accounts.
- Viewer - read-only access.
Your gateway endpoint
MCP is served on its own host, mcp.fastn.dev. The path names the workspace the connection is scoped to: your org id is your default workspace, so https://mcp.fastn.dev/<org> points at it, and /<org>/<workspace> scopes to a named workspace under your org. The bare https://mcp.fastn.dev also works: it takes the org and workspace from the credential. A trailing /mcp is accepted on every form but not needed. Point any client or agent at the URL.
https://mcp.fastn.dev/your-company # your org (default workspace)
https://mcp.fastn.dev/your-company/meetings # a specific workspace
https://mcp.fastn.dev # org and workspace from the credentialFAQ
How do teammates join my workspace?
Anyone signing in with your verified company domain joins your org automatically (as a viewer by default). Admins can change roles or invite teammates by email.
